Luke 6:45

Luke 6:45 tells us. "A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of."

What is your heart full of today toward your spouse? Is it resentment, anger, fear and loathing? Or is it love, patience, grace and kindness. Remember, that which we think we eventually speak! And because of the power of our words (Proverbs 18:21), we therefore plant what we speak into the hearts of our spouse!

Since what we plant (or sow) we also reap (Galatians 6) the responsibility for the state of our marriages can often be traced full circle back ourselves - not our spouses.

Be determined today to renew your mind in God's holy word, let it saturate your heart, let it season your words to plant seeds of love, so that the harvest in your marriage may be plentiful and blessed.
